Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing, accessing or using Rank Forge (the “Service”) on your Shopify store, you (“you”, the “merchant”) agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service.

2. The Service

Rank Forge audits the on-page SEO of your store’s products, collections, pages and blogs and gives each a 0–100 score across eight on-page checks (title, meta description, single H1, image alt coverage, canonical, Open Graph, JSON-LD structured data, and content depth), with a prioritized fix list. On a paid plan, Rank Forge can — only when you choose to apply a fix — write a single field back to your store: a grounded SEO meta description on a product, collection or page, built from that resource’s own title and copy. Every write-back is reversible to the exact previous value. The other seven checks are guided, do-it-yourself fixes; Rank Forge does not auto-modify your theme, media, titles, or any other content.

4. Acceptable use

• Use the Service only on stores you own or are authorized to manage.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Do not use the Service to publish unlawful, infringing or deceptive content.
• You are responsible for reviewing any fix before applying it and for the content of your store.

5. Plans & billing

All charges are billed through Shopify’s billing system and appear on your Shopify invoice. Plans:

• Free — $0/month: full on-page SEO audit and prioritized do-it-yourself fix list, up to 100 pages per audit, re-runnable as often as you like.
• Pro — $29/month: everything in Free, plus a 1,000-page crawl and one-click reversible write-back of the meta description (one page at a time).
• Scale — $59/month: everything in Pro, plus a 10,000-page crawl, bulk write-back over up to 500 of your worst-scoring audited pages per run, scheduled automatic re-audit, and a 365-run audit history.

On every plan, including Free, editing a product re-audits that product automatically; that is the only automatic trigger (Rank Forge subscribes to the products/update webhook only). Scale adds a scheduled store-wide re-audit. You can re-run the audit yourself at any time on any plan.

Paid plans renew every 30 days via Shopify until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your Shopify admin; uninstalling the app cancels the subscription. Except where required by law, charges already billed are non-refundable.

6. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its audit results or fixes will produce any particular SEO or business outcome.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rank Forge and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination & changes

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin; on uninstall and the subsequent shop-redaction request, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, and we may modify the Service or these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
